Our Origin Story: Meet the Geek Dad

It Started with a Wardrobe Full of Nothing to Wear.

Hi, I'm Robert Rogers, the founder of Geek Dad Fashion and, well, a geek dad.

For years, my closet was a battleground. On one side, I had my "dad uniform" – plain, boring t-shirts and polos. On the other, I had my collection of geeky graphic tees that, if I'm being honest, were a little too loud. They screamed my love for Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, but they weren't exactly stylish.

I was stuck. I wanted to represent the fandoms that shaped my imagination, from building LEGO TIE Fighters with my kids to late-night sessions of D&D. But I also wanted to wear something that looked and felt great—a shirt I could wear to a barbecue, a parent-teacher conference, or just out running errands without it looking like a costume.

I was searching for a middle ground that didn't seem to exist. So, I decided to create it.

 

More Than a Brand, It's an Identity

Geek Dad Fashion was born from a simple idea: Your passions shouldn't be hidden. This brand is my way of uniquely expressing the nerdy side of myself that I'm proud of, and I want to help other dads do the same.

This isn't just about printing cool sci-fi and fantasy designs on shirts. It's about:

Our Quest

My mission is to create the kind of apparel I always wanted for myself and to build a community where we can celebrate our passions together. This has been an incredible journey of creativity and a fun way for me to share what I love with the world.
